Description

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking services for the exclusive, long-term safe layberthing of three (3) CAPE S-class Ready Reserve Force (RRF) vessels: CAPE SABLE, CAPE SAN JUAN, and CAPE STARR, at a site on the U.S. East, Gulf, or West Coast. While these layberths are intended for the specified vessels, the Government reserves the right to substitute vessels of similar or smaller size. Ready Reserve Fleet vessels will typically be kept in an idle status at the layberth site, remaining in place under all weather conditions, except during participation in certain operations, for repairs, or to meet periodic regulatory requirements.
