Although the layberths are intended for the vessels identified in this solicitation, the Government may substitute vessels of a similar size or smaller. The layberthing arrangement must include a mooring plan utilizing a combination of fixed structures and anchors to ensure compliance with heavy weather mooring standards. The RRF vessels will typically be maintained in an idle status and will remain at the layberth site under all weather conditions, except when deployed for various operations, undergo repairs, or meet periodic regulatory requirements. Additionally, ship activations and dock trials will be performed at the layberth as needed. For more details reach out to the POC.
