Jan 2017 DOT Sustainability/Energy Scorecard

The mission of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is to ensure a fast, safe, efficient, accessible and convenient transportation system that meets vital national interests and enhances the quality of life of the American people, today and into the future. In this latest OMB scorecard on Sustainability and Energy for the Federal Government, DOT shows improvement in all key performance measures, earning all green scores on this scorecard for the first time ever. This translates to the Department successfully taking steps to operate more efficiently and effectively in FY17.
