U.S. Dept. of Transportation Celebrates 500 Days of American Greatness

Under President Trump and Secretary Chao, DOT Moves America’s Transportation System Forward

Top Achievements:

1. DOT is the top performing agency in the government for reducing or eliminating unnecessary, duplicative and overly burdensome regulations. A recent report found DOT was a big contributor to the Administration’s overall predicted net regulatory savings of $1.3 billion for the American people.
    
2. DOT is working to unlock American innovation to prepare for the future and improve safety and well-being for millions. This includes automated vehicle and unmanned aircraft technologies.
    
3. DOT is putting into place common-sense policies to reform project permitting and leverage private sector funding to build infrastructure bigger, better and faster than before.
