SUBJECT:               Address Verification Function in the Electronic Application

PURPOSE:              

This Bulletin provides notification of an update to TRANServe’s Electronic Application System.

BACKGROUND:  ­­­­­

To assist our customers with maintaining accurate and up to date address information, TRANServe is pleased to announce the Electronic Application System now links home and work address information to the US Postal Service (USPS) address database for verification.

Information:        

In order to complete an application, addresses must be recognized by the USPS. Functionality is the same for the home and work addresses as follows:

  1. Enter a valid work address in the address line
  2. Enter a valid zip code
  3. The City and State auto-populate*

*Note: If multiple cities are listed for a zip code, the city can be updated as long as it is recognized by the USPS.

REQUIRED ACTION:

No action is required.
