Description

The Next Generation Wireless Device Procurement project will procure 5G devices to support Next Generation Wireless Testing Services activities and DOT Spectrum Team Testing activities. This project will follow the process that was successful in procuring LTE C-V2X devices for the DOT Spectrum Team testing activities. This would include an initial Request for Information (RFI) for 5G device vendors to demonstrate which devices have 5G NR-V2X capabilities. Following the results of the RFI, this project will procure devices from multiple vendors that provided credible responses to the RFI.
