This 4.5-mile pedestrian and bicycle trail project includes:

  1. Culvert replacements and other drainage improvements
  2. Widening the existing roadway from between twenty-two (22) and twenty-six (26) feet to a consistent twenty-eight (28) feet
  3. Adding additional base
  4. Paving the roadway
  5. Modifications to minor structures (cattle guards, box culverts, etc.)
  6. Replacing timber bridge deck and guardrail to two bridges.
  7. Construct a sixteen (16) foot wide clearing with a ten (10) foot wide unpaved trail which includes the removal of trees
  8. Improve sight distance
  9. Clear zone improvements
  10. Install  large culverts
  11. Asphalt pavement overlay two (2) inch or three (3) inch depth
