Description | The Volpe Center is procuring engineering and analytical services to modernize air traffic infrastructure in the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS), and to harmonize the exchange of aerospace-related data within and across this infrastructure to support both real-time operations and historical analysis. Examples of these efforts seek to develop enterprise information systems which publish aerospace data; standardize the structure and format of aerospace-related messages; provide operational context for message elements and information services; and modernize Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) infrastructure assets critical to data exchange. |
