Nyime Gilchrist is the Manager for the Bonding Education Program (BEP) within the U.S. Department of Transportation Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). In this capacity, Ms. Gilchrist is responsible for the implementation of the BEP in the 11 Small Business Transportation Resource Centers (SBTRCs) across the country and ensures that the program is tailored to businesses competing for transportation-related contracts.
Ms. Gilchrist is also responsible for maintaining and developing partnerships with transportation project stakeholders to ensure the success of the BEP within the operating regions.
Before joining DOT, Ms. Gilchrist served as the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Outreach and Compliance Manager for Skanska U.S.A. Civil Southeast, managing all aspects of small business performance on Federal aid transportation projects in the Washington DC Metropolitan Region. Prior to this role, she was chosen from 4,000 applicants to participate in Skanska's two year international leadership training program that focused on strategic decision making, best practices, diversity and inclusion, and project management.
Ms. Gilchrist has a Master's in Business Administration, International Business (MBA) from Arcadia University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from Philadelphia University.
