Plans for Increasing the Public Availability of Information about Agency Operations

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is publishing a plan from each Operating Administration (OA) establishing a system under which it will make appropriate proactive releases of DOT information and data.  These plans are the result of the Department’s commitments in its third Open Government Plan in 2014 and were developed in accordance with DOT’s March 2015 Memorandum on Developing a Systemic Approach for Increasing the Public Availability of Information about Agency Operations.

Each OA developed their own systemic approach to effectively generate and manage releases of data they produce that is useful to the public.  These plans will be fully implemented no later than September 30, 2016.  Links to each OA’s plan are below.
