On Dec. 13, 2023, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced $813 million in grant awards for 385 communities through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program.

Of those 385 award recipients, 48 received Implementation Grants, which are summarized in 1-page fact sheets in this document. Implementation Grants provide funding for communities to implement strategies and projects that will significantly reduce or eliminate transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries.
