NASCAR's David Ragan joins NHTSA for Safety Campaign
For the second straight season, NASCAR driver David Ragan's #34 car carried safety messaging from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The car, prominently displaying the "Safercar.gov" logo as well as five stars representing NHTSA's 5-Star Crash Test Rating program, competed in races at Talladega Superspeedway for the October 20th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Camping World RV Sales 500 and at Texas Motor Speedway for the November 3rd AAA Texas 500.
Safercar.gov is NHTSA's terrific auto safety site. From recall information to child safety seats, safercar.gov has you covered. And a key part of the site is NHTSA's 5-Star Safety Ratings that measure the crashworthiness and rollover safety of vehicles. As the #34 car indicates, "More stars mean safer cars."
Many thanks to David Ragan, NASCAR, and the Front Row Motorsports team for their continued commitment to automobile safety!
