The Department of Transportation has a need to procure non-personal Information Technology Application Software Engineering Support for the Operating Administrations (OAs) within the Department of Transportation. These include: Federal Highway Administration, Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Federal Railroad Administration, Federal Transit Administration, National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, and Maritime Administration, as well as the Office of the Secretary. This procurement will be a multi-award blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with multiple task orders supporting Software Maintenance and Software Development for the OAs. Objectives of the acquisition are to support both existing applications and new applications development. Many of the OA application development utilize the Application Software Development Procedures (SDP) which are used as the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for the OA custom developed applications.
