Grand Parkway Segments H&I

The Grand Parkway Segments H&I Project involves continuation of construction of a tollway in the Greater Houston area, spanning seven counties, that will partially complete a proposed 184-mile circumferential tollway known as the Grand Parkway System.  Segments H and I, with substantial completion slated for May 2022, will extend the outside loop by 43 miles.  All project segments previously under construction are complete and open to tolling, totaling approximately 64 miles.

Lynnwood Link Extension

The Lynnwood Link Extension will extend the Link rail system by 8.5 miles from Northgate Transit Center in Seattle north into Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, and Lynnwood Transit Center in Snohomish County.  The Project includes the construction for four new stations, the addition of 1,500 parking spaces, and the acquisitions of 34 light-rail vehicles.  The Project also includes partial funding for the construction of the Operations & Maintenance Facility: East, which will support maintenance of the light rail vehicles and vehicle dispatching.

Central 70

The Project involves redesigning a 10-mile portion of I-70 East highway in Denver, Colorado which stretches from I-25 on the west to Tower Road on the east.

MBTA Positive Train Control

The Project is the implementation of positive train control technology and associated supporting infrastructure required to comply with the federally-mandated PTC requirements (49 CFR 236, Subpart I).  The Project will be applied to all of MBTA’s commuter rail system with approximately 400 combined track miles (purple line on the map).  The Project provides significant safety benefits, by preventing trains from incursion into work zones without proper authority, keeping trains from being routed though misaligned switches, and protecting the movement of trains through failed or inoperative g
