DOT DEIA Strategic Plan for FY22-26
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)'s mission is to deliver the world's leading transportation system, serving the American people and economy through the safe, efficient, sustainable, and equitable movement of people and goods. In order to best carry out this mission, DOT recognizes the importance of ensuring that DOT employees have a safe, equitable, and inclusive work environment. DOT's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Strategic Plan for Fiscal Year 2022-2026 demonstrates DOT's commitment to DEIA as critical to advancing the Department's mission. This plan was developed by DOT's Workforce Equity Team - a cross-Departmental team of staff from civil rights, human resources, and program offices. Each and every employee has an important role to play in realizing this plan and advancing DEIA throughout DOT.
