Breaking Down Barriers: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act

Thank you for your interest in registering for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s event, “Breaking Down Barriers: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act,”  taking place virtually on Thursday, July 30, from 2:00 - 4:00pm EDT. A Zoom link will be sent closer to the event date.

We are committed to providing equal access to this event for all participants. If you need an accommodation, please contact Alex Oster at Alexandra.oster@dot.gov or 617-494-3539 to make a  request no later than Thursday, July 23.

This event will bring together leaders across the government to acknowledge accomplishments in transportation that have resulted from this landmark civil rights legislation. In addition to celebrating the ADA’s success, speakers will also discuss what actions need to be taken to ensure an accessible transportation future for all Americans. You’ll hear from Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao, DOT’s modal administrators, and other speakers that will be announced later this month.
